Steps
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) Fan. If using dry mince, rinse it really well under running water using a sieve to rehydrate it. Shake the sieve to drain any excess water.

Skip this step if using ready plant-based mince.
Add mince, tomato paste, syrup, soy sauce, onion and garlic powder to a small mixing bowl.
Mix to combine using a spoon or your hands (wear a food-grade glove). Set aside.
Cut cabbage into bite-sized pieces. Add to an oiled casserole dish, preferably cast iron. Spray or drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and mix to coat. Cover with a lid or a sheet of foil.
Roast in the middle of the oven for 10 minutes. Stir with a spatula and roast for another 10 minutes.
Add mince to the cabbage.
Mix to combine.
Roast, covered, for another 10 minutes.
In the meantime, make the yogurt sauce. Add yogurt, vinegar, garlic powder, dill, if using, and salt to a mixing bowl.
Mix to combine.
Spread the sauce on top of plates.
Top with the cabbage and mince mix. Sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper.
