Yogurt Bagels

180 g all-purpose flour
120 ml plain non-dairy yogurt
10 g ~ 1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

Steps
1Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) Fan. Fill a large wide cooking pot (28 cm ~ 11 inch) with water ~ 2 lt. Bring to a boil. While the water is heating up, add flour and baking powder to a medium size mixing bowl.
2Whisk to combine.
3Add yogurt.
4Mix first using a spoon then your hands until you get a firm dough. You don’t need to knead it.
5Split the dough into two portions, roll into balls then flatten into thick disks.
6Poke two holes in each.
7Once the water starts boiling, drop the bagels into the water and boil for 2 minutes.
8Use a spatula or a spoon to fish out the bagels and place them on top of a baking tray lined with baking paper. Lightly pat with a paper kitchen towel. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
9Bake in the middle of the oven for 20 minutes. Allow to cool on the tray for 5 minutes before slicing.
10Slice in two and add to a plate.
