Tofu Banoffee Tart

Ingredients

1 tart shell or 4 mini shells, baked
2 small bananas, sliced

Filler:
200 g firm tofu
120 ml non-dairy milk
70 g dates

Topping:
200 g firm tofu
120 ml non-dairy milk
20 g cocoa powder
30 g maple or agave syrup, or dates

Optional Garnish:
10 g ~ 2 squares black chocolate

½ cup non-dairy milk
½ cup dates

Topping:
7 oz firm tofu
½ cup non-dairy milk
¼ cup cocoa powder
2 tbsp maple or agave syrup, or dates

Optional Garnish:
2 squares black chocolate

COOKING TIME2 hrs +
TOTAL TIME2 hrs or overnight
Steps
1Make the filler. Add tofu, milk and dates to a blender.
2Blend until smooth and set aside.
3Make the topping. Add tofu, milk, cocoa powder and syrup to a blender.
4Blend until smooth and set aside.
5Place a baked tart on top of a serving plate.
6Pour the filler into the tart and spread it with a spoon or a spatula.
7Top with banana slices.
8Pour the topping over the bananas.
9Grate the chocolate over the topping. Place in the fridge to chill for 2 hours or overnight. Keep refrigerated until serving.
