Tahini Date Brownies



200 g dates
120 g tahini
20 g cocoa powder


1 ¼ cup dates
½ cup tahini
¼ cup cocoa powder

MAKES8 brownies
PREP TIME10 minutes
CHILL TIME30 minutes
TOTAL TIME40 minutes
1Add tahini and ⅓ of the dates to a mini food processor.
2Blend until combined. Add another ⅓ of the dates. Blend again. Repeat until all the dates are incorporated.
3Add cocoa powder.
4Blend until combined.
5Transfer the mix on top of a sheet of baking paper.
6Shape into a rectangle using your hands and then a knife.
7Wrap it up and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes - or overnight.
8Cut into 8 pieces. Keep refrigerated. Can be kept in the fridge for up to 6 days.
