Red Split Lentils Tortillas

200 g ~ 1 cup red split lentils
360 ml ~ 1 ½ cup water
½ tbsp olive oil for frying
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
¼ tsp salt

Steps


1Rinse red split lentils really well under running water until it runs clear.
2Add rinsed lentils, water, garlic powder, onion powder and salt to a blender.
3Blend until smooth to make the batter ~ 2 minutes. Set aside to soak for 5 minutes.
4Preheat a frying pan. Set heat to low (induction #4) and coat or spray with olive oil. Pour ¼ of the lentil mix onto the pan. Tilt the pan to spread the batter. Fry for 2 minutes.
5Flip the tortilla over and fry for another 2 minutes. Repeat with the rest of the batter.
6Transfer to a plate.
