Broccoli Chickpea Patties

240 g frozen broccoli
240 g ~ 1 can cooked chickpeas
60 g oat flour or ground oats

Salt & Spices:
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp ground cumin
½ tsp salt

Optional:
200 g yogurt mayo
½ tbsp olive oil for baking

1 cup ~ 7 oz yogurt mayo
½ tbsp olive oil for baking

Steps
1Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) Fan. Arrange frozen broccoli (take it directly from the freezer) on top of a baking tray lined with baking paper.
2Roast in the middle of the oven for 15 minutes.
3Rinse and drain chickpeas. Add rinsed chickpeas and cooked broccoli to a medium-sized mixing bowl.
4Mash using a fork, an immersion blender or your hands (wear a food grade glove).
5Add oat flour (or ground oats), salt and spices.
6Mix to combine.
7Split the mix into 10 portions, wet your hands and shape them into patties. Arrange the patties on top of a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Optional: Spray or brush the patties with olive oil.
8Bake in the middle of the oven for 15 minutes. Turn the patties over and bake for another 5 minutes.
9Transfer the patties to a plate. Serve with a side of yogurt mayo.
