Place the walnuts on a piece of kitchen paper. Use enough space so they don’t overlap too much.

Fold the paper over the walnuts to fully cover them and keep the pieces contained.

Use the back of a spoon to press down and crush. Apply firm, even pressure until the walnuts reach your desired consistency - light pressure for larger chunks, more force for finer bits.

Tip: A metal spoon works best for a steady crush, and the paper makes cleanup easy!
