Steps

1Add kale to a large bowl, drizzle with vinegar (any inexpensive type), and cover with water. Let it soak for 10 minutes to refresh wilted leaves and help remove bacteria.

2Drain the kale, rinse thoroughly, and remove the stems.

3Using your hands, crush the leaves until they turn bright green and release their juices.

4Drizzle with balsamic vinegar, sprinkle with salt, and mix to coat evenly.

5Transfer to a serving bowl and top with sunflower seeds.
